Restylane®
Restylane®, offered at our Toms River, New Jersey, practice, is another option for reducing wrinkles and fine lines.
Known as a dermal filler, Restylane® is made of a non-animal based hyaluronic acid. Considering there are no animal proteins used in this treatment, there is little or no risk of allergic reactions. Restylane® is injected into various treatment sites to minimize facial creases, including lines on the forehead and around the eyes and lips. This treatment may also be used in facial contouring or lip enhancement, providing extra volume and fullness to your skin.
A Restylane® treatment at our New Jersey office typically lasts 30 minutes, and patients can see results almost immediately. The skin will be noticeably smoother and firmer. The youthful appearance that results from a Restylane® treatment can last between six and eight months, a longer time than most other dermal fillers. About two treatments a year can help maintain your desired look.

Juvederm™
As the latest form of hyaluronic acid, Juvederm™ is a non-animal dermal filler used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and folds by adding volume to the skin. Collagen Injections
Collagen injections, offered at the Personal Enhancement Center, are primarily used for minor imperfections on the face, such as wrinkles, laugh lines, acne scars, crow’s feet and others. Collagen is a naturally occurring substance in the body. When it breaks down, the skin looses elasticity causing it to wrinkle and sag. Many people choose collagen injections to replace this lost natural collagen. Collagen injections can be completed in a short office visit and side effects such as swelling or bruising will subside in a few days.
Radiesse™
Radiesse™ is a cosmetic dermal filler used to diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Radiesse™ differs from collagen and other fillers in that it offers longer lasting results - usually between one and two years. This added benefit increases the price of an initial treatment, but maintaining your look through Radiesse™ injections can cost the same, if not less, than the other fillers.
Side effects of this treatment may also be minimal as Radiesse™ is made of calcium hydroxylapatite, a substance naturally found in the body.
