Dr. Nagy is one of the distinguished plastic surgeons at our New Jersey practice. His advanced training provides patients with the high level of expertise they deserve. Licensed to practice plastic surgery in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, he is a certified Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Nagy earned his bachelors degree in biology at the University of Scranton, Pennsylvania, where he received a four-year academic scholarship. He graduated with the highest honors – Summa Cum Laude.
He continued his education at the University of Cincinnati's College of Medicine, where he earned his Doctorate of Medicine degree in 1996. During medical school, he earned membership into Alpha Omega Alpha, the only national medical honor society in the world.
Dr. Nagy completed a rigorous five-year general surgery residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He then returned to Ocean County, New Jersey, where he established a successful general surgery practice, further enhancing his surgical skills. His desire to provide a greater level of satisfaction for his patients led him to additional training in plastic surgery.
Dr. John McCraw, a world-renowned plastic surgeon, chose Dr. Nagy to complete a one-year fellowship specializing in breast and aesthetic surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Following his fellowship, Dr. Nagy completed a comprehensive two-year plastic surgery residency at both the University of Mississippi Medical Center and the Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Nagy has lectured at both national and international plastic surgery meetings, presenting his experience with the use of VASER® ultrasound technology for liposuction and breast procedures. He has also served as an instructor for the use of this technologically advanced device.
Dr. Nagy lives in Ocean County, New Jersey, with his wife and two daughters. He is enthusiastic about his chosen profession and truly enjoys improving the lives of his patients. Dr. Nagy also enjoys golfing, tennis, coaching little league softball, and biking with his family. He is an avid college football fan.
