Dr. Christopher Godek is one of the talented plastic surgeons at our New Jersey practice. A licensed plastic surgeon in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Dr. Godek is board-certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and is a certified Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Godek earned his undergraduate degree in bioengineering at Syracuse University and is known to be one of the most highly skilled among New Jersey plastic surgeons. He graduated at the top of his class, earning one of the highest honors – Magna Cum Laude. The knowledge that he acquired as a bioengineer continues to inform his practice to this day; he is considered a true innovator in the field of cosmetic surgery.
Dr. Godek earned his Doctorate of Medicine degree from the Boston University's School of Medicine in 1994. During medical school, he earned membership into Alpha Omega Alpha, the only national medical honor society in the world. He then completed additional training as a research fellow at Harvard Medical School, acquiring additional skills that continue to enhance his practice today. In 2000, Dr. Godek completed a combined General Surgery-Plastic Surgery Residency at the University of Pennsylvania and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
While at the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Godek trained with world-renowned plastic surgeons. This allowed him to further refine his skills and become one of the most talented plastic surgeons in New Jersey and across the country, a fact borne out by the amazing results he has achieved.
In addition to being an outstanding plastic surgeon in New Jersey, Dr. Godek is an accomplished researcher, having received several grants and published numerous academic articles on cosmetic surgery techniques. He is also an active member of the following academic associations and societies:
